A Persian Wound

Year: 2025
Medium: Acrylic and graphite on canvas
Dimensions: 16 × 20 in (40.6 × 50.8 cm)
Collection: Arshia 2

A veiled face appears inside layered bodily forms, while a band of Persian script crosses the composition like a wound, border, or remembered sentence. The work binds private injury to cultural memory through interrupted figuration and text. Created in Texas.
